Description

My first project in Unreal Engine, and a personal project that I worked on with a friend. This game aims to follow the success of Unrecord, following with their extremely unique FPS controller. It is a horror game following a theif breaking into a house following a tip that a very expensive parcel has just arrived there. As the player progresses, they realize the item they came here to steal, causes Zombification, which transmits through bite. The game uses delay, fish eye distortion, camera lens effect and much more to emulate a body camera. The players weapon does not follow the camera like a traditional FPS, but instead will lag behind, or not follow if the movement would be physically impossible. This, coupled with Unreal Engines Lumen and great assets, creates an immersive experience which is unlike any game before. This game was created due to the belief that greater immersion within Horror Games has the benefit of a larger horror factor.
